The National Theatre has launched an iTunes U plaftorm where you can download or watch hundreds of videos about making theatre, listen to podcasts of Platform events, enjoy interviews with respected theatre practitioners, hear readings, and read production background packs from your favourite shows - all for free. Subscribe to a collection that interests you and automatically receive new content added to that collection the next time you use your iTunes library.

iTunes U Collections


Voice

This collection features video tutorials from Jeanette Nelson - Head of Voice at the National. Jeanette will take you through a full vocal warm-up. The collection also features short films about how to use your voice to interrogate text and how a voice must adapt to a variety of theatrical spaces.

National Theatre
This collection features a guided tour of the National Theatre from Nicholas Hytner, a short film about NT Live, and videos about the three very different theatres in the building and what it takes to run them.

War Horse
This collection contains interviews with the creators of the show, an interview with Michael Morpurgo about writing the book, a backstage video diary from an original cast member, a platform with Handspring Puppet Company demonstrating the puppets, short documentaries and teaching resources.
