Synopsis:

The National Theatre has recently commissioned Michael Kirkman to create a print in response to the building that celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013.

Michael Kirkman studied at Edinburgh School of Art and completed his MA in Illustration at the Royal College of Art in 2010. Kirkman is fast becoming a highly regarded printmaker with a strong following amongst collectors who appreciate his strong and complex linocuts and lithographs. 

This is the first in a series of collaborations between printmakers and the National Theatre creating a highly collectable series of limited edition prints reflecting the NT and its activities.
