David Harewood is currently playing Theseus in Welcome to Thebes, and previously appeared at the NT as Hotspur in Henry IV, Asril in His Dark Materials, and the title role in Othello. Other work includes The Mountaintop (Trafalgar Studios and Theatre 503), Woyzeck (New York), Peribanez (Young Vic), and The Misanthrope (Chichester), Mandela in Mrs Mandela and Doctor Who on TV, and the film Blood Diamond.
