CPD for Teachers: Directing Shakespeare

This two-day workshop is designed to empower teachers to work confidently with Shakespeare and embrace the challenge of holding the roles of both director and teacher.  Delivered by National Theatre artists experienced in working with young people, the workshop will provide you with exercises and strategies for ensuring that both rehearsal process and performance help develop students' learning as well as their enthusiasm for Shakespeare.

The course has developed from two years of workshops for teachers led by the National Theatre as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival . It is intended to inspire and support secondary school teachers with any level of experience in directing Shakespeare with young people.

Dates: Friday 12 & Saturday 13 November, 9am - 4:30pm
