The 6.30pm performance has sadly been cancelled due to the rain.
A gritty yet graceful exploration of cause and effect combining the extreme sport of BMX Flatland with breakin’, parkour and contemporary dance in a duet between a flatlander and a B-Boy, twisting and turning in an intricate and elegant game of rumours and whispers. Revolutionary Steps

The story of Danton’s Death has leaked out of the Olivier Theatre and into the foyer, up the stairs and all around the National. The ‘script’ for this radically reimagined version of the French Revolution story is marked out in vinyl footprints, handprints and speech bubbles waiting for you to perform it. Solve the mini performance puzzles to work out what happens in each scene and make the piece your own; act it out with friends and family of all ages. Be playful. Be revolutionary. Have fun.

Blackbeard the Pirate
The British Stage in Miniature
Minature performances projected live on the Flytower Fri 27 & 28 August at 10pm.
The Toy Theatre first appeared in the early 1800s, miniaturising the great productions of the day into intricately detailed cardboard cut-out versions. Young Blood lovingly recreates these mini-masterpieces in his outsize Corinthian Theatre and his hand-coloured, cut-out figures and scenery burst into life with accompanying music adding a contemporary twist. In Blackbeard the Pirate, experience swashbucklinghigh-sea adventures with the infamous Blackbeard - the Captain Jack Sparrow of his day!
