What is Connections?
We've been given the chance to work with industry professionals and to perform in one of the country's leading theatres. There's nothing else like NT Connections.

Connections is a national festival of new writing and young theatre making.
The concept is simple - exciting new plays, commissioned by the National Theatre and performed by youth theatre groups across the UK, with professional support from the NT and its Partner Theatres.
Connections [...] produces new work of startling good quality.

Connections aims to:
• inspire 13-19 year olds with high-quality new playwriting
• give companies the knowledge, skills and confidence to bring the plays to life
• involve a wide range of young companies, giving additional support where needed
• encourage young people to get involved in all aspects of theatre making
The NT and our partners believe that the experience of creating, producing and performing live theatre can transform young people's aspirations, skills and life chances.
