Writing for the Stage

Masterclass with Tamsin Oglesby and Sebastian Born

The author of Really Old, Like Forty Five uses scenes from her new play to explore ideas and advice on writing for the stage.  This masterclass also offers a unique opportunity to hear your own work read by NT Company members and receive feedback from Sebastian Born, the NT's Associate Director, Literary to help you develop your technique.

If you would like a chance to have your work read on stage, book a ticket for the event before emailing your submission to discover@nationaltheatre.org.uk .  The deadline for submissions is Friday 26 February and a maximum three texts will be chosen to be used during the masterclass.

Work will be selected which enables Tamsin Oglesby and Sebastian Born to give general advice, useful to any writer as well as specific feedback to the author of the piece.  Selections will be announced at the Masterclass.  We regret that the NT cannot enter into correspondence about submissions.

Suitable for 15yrs+
