Frank's Closet returns to London stage

Frank's Closet, the music hall-themed production, returns to the Hoxton Hall this Christmas, following a successful summer run.

The show, specifically written for the East End venue, will run from 3 December to 10 January 2010, with an official opening on 7 December.

Frank's closet tells the tale of man suffering a bout of nerves on the eve of his wedding.

While clearing out his closet of rare costumes he stumbles across the Gaiety girls and a number of divas who help him to get hitched.

Gary Amers, whose recent West End credits include Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre, will play the lead role of Frank.

The Diva will be played by Russell Whitehead, recently seen in Chicago at the Cambridge theatre.

Julie Andrews, Karen Carpenter and Judy Garland are just some of the icons brought to life on stage during the show's six-week run.

A "mystery newcomer" has also been promised to visitors to the Hoxton Hall.
