Potted Potter in West End return

Potted Potter, the 70-minute parody of the Harry Potter works, returns to the Trafalgar Studios for the third time this Christmas.

The show, created by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, condenses all seven of JK Rowling's famous books into one two-man show.

Clarkson and Turner, also known as Dan and Jeff, are perhaps best know for their work as television presenters on children's channel CBBC.

The Ambassador Theatre Group claimed the pair are able to recreate "plenty of Hogwarts magic", through endless costume changes, brilliant songs and ridiculous props.

This year's edition, directed by Richard Hurst, is said to feature a quidditch game involving the audience and a special appearance from a fire-breathing dragon.

The show runs from 8 December to 2 January 2010 at Trafalgar Studios 2 in central London.

Following the success of Potted Potter, creators Clarkson and Turner launched a tour of their second condensed show, Potted Pirates.
