Information

Access
The New London Theatre is a difficult environment for anyone with physical access requirements including those people using a wheelchair or who are ambulant disabled. The New London Theatre itself is built on high upper levels of the building. There is no lift front of house, the escalator in the main entrance foyer connects to a higher level which after using the escalator means a further 30 - 70 steps to reach seats in the auditorium.

Tickets for disabled people
Book with Customer Relations team at See Tickets (details on the left).

Wheelchair users
We recommend arriving at the theatre 30 minutes before the performance. Please introduce yourself at the Box Office in the main foyer and a member of the front of house team will accompany you for your visit, including the interval.

The route for wheelchair users to the auditorium is via Stage Door area, where there is a large goods lift. This large lift does not go all the way to the level of the auditorium, and the majority of people will need to transfer to a small house wheelchair in a backstage area, as the second lift on the route will not accommodate many sizes of wheelchair and cannot accommodate any electric wheelchair or scooter.

There is an adjacent accessible toilet on the same level.

Assistance dogs
Please ask at point of booking. Dogs may be taken into aisle seats (there is no air conditioning, heating under the seat) or can be looked after by front of house staff.

Infra red audio system
Available in the theatre for every performance. There are 20 headset receivers for people who are partially hearing and 13 neck loops for those who use a hearing aid. Headsets are essential and available from the Box Office.

Large print and braille cast lists for blind and visually impaired people
Available from the Box Office in the main entrance for every performance
