Lift Off opens at the Curve

Lift Off is to open at the new Curve theatre in Leicester tomorrow (November 11th).The production is due to run until November 16th as part of the venue's first two opening week celebrations.
Directed by the artistic team of Paul Kerryson, Adel Al-Salloum and Firenza Guidi, Lift Off features the NoFit State Circus as well as poets and gospel singers.
The production is designed to allow audience members to move around the venue as the performance takes place around them.
Mr Kerryson, artistic director of the theatre, said: "It's wonderful to be able to share this spectacular theatre with audiences, and let them be an integral part of our exciting events."
"Lift Off will bring people together from across the region to see a unique performance that they will truly remember," he added.
Meanwhile, the theatre's first season in 2009 will include a production of Shakespeare's As You Like It, to be directed by Tim Supple and Dancing Within Walls by Rani Moorthy.
