New season at the Young Vic revealed

The new season at the Young Vic theatre includes productions from Katie Mitchell and Colin Teevan.After Dido is a live music and film performance piece directed by Ms Mitchell and inspired by Henry Purcell's opera Dido And Aeneas.
It is a collaboration between the Young Vic and the ENO who previously worked together on Lost Highway and Punch and Judy.
The play is due to run in the main body of the theatre from April 15th to the 29th 2009.
Colin Teevan's Kafka's Monkey will run in the Maria Theatre at the venue from March 14th to April 9th.
The production is based on Franz Kafka's A Report to an Academy short story and features Kathryn Hunter acting as a monkey playing a man.
Ms Hunter previously appeared in The Visit at the Young Vic.
Katie Mitchell is an associate director at the National Theatre with her productions including Attempts On Her Life, The Seagull, Women Of Troy and …Some Trace Of Her.
