About
A thorough exploration of the play in the rehearsal room is an important preparation for runs of several months. But performing a play is not necessarily a boring task; with a good play, the actor can get better and better and playing this small slice of life as the run goes on. The National's rep system (swapping in and out of a theatre with another company performing another play) also helps avoid boredom setting in.
