About National Theatre Learning

The National Theatre offers extraordinary resources for lifelong learning about and through theatre.

Through imaginative and innovative in-school, on-site and online activities, NT Learning opens up the National's repertoire, artistry, skills, and the building itself, enabling participants of all ages to discover new skills and experience the excitement of theatre-making. Our programme of formal and informal learning aims to deepen the public's relationship with every aspect of the NT's work, from playwriting to production skills, while promoting theatre as a means of understanding each other and the world, a stimulus to imagination and a powerful context for learning.

NT Learning activities take place at the National Theatre, in our dedicated John Lyon Education Studio at the NT Studio, and in schools, with partner theatres and organisations across London and the UK.
