Kirin Ichiban Beer presents BAFTA short films on the fly tower

Kirin Ichiban, official beer of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, supports a series of BAFTA-nominated and awardwinning short films and animations projected onto the National Theatre fly-tower.

Women's Work
This programme showcases some of the best BAFTA shorts directed by women. Programme includes:
 

The Dog Who Was a Cat Inside (Dir. Siri Melchior, BAFTA 2003, 4 mins). Inventive and vivid animation about a melancholic dog who wishes he were a cat.
The Dog Who Was Inside A Cat

The Banker (Dir. Hattie Dalton, BAFTA 2005, 13 mins). A lonely lab technician who works in a sperm bank falls for one of the patients and goes to great lengths to get her attention. Starring Michael Sheen (The Queen).

Gasman (Dir. Lynne Ramsey BAFTA 1997, 15 mins). Ratcatcher director Ramsey, uses striking photography to tell this story of a young girl on an outing with her Dad who doesn’t want to share his affections with anyone.

Shadowscan (Dir. Tinge Krishnan, BAFTA 2001, 11 mins).
