Kirin Ichiban Beer presents BAFTA short films on the fly tower

Kirin Ichiban, official beer of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, supports a series of BAFTA-nominated and awardwinning short films and animations projected onto the National Theatre fly-tower.

Wild Imagination, 1 - 2 August
A weird and wonderful celebration of the wild imagination, programme includes:

Rabbit (Dir. Run Wrake, BAFTA 2005, 9 mins). 50s educational stickers are ingeniously and  meticulously animated in this after-dark fairy tale.

Eight (Dir. Stephen Daldry) A short film from the director of The Hours and Billy Elliot

Hikikiomori (Dir. Paul Wright, BAFTA 2006, 12 mins). An adolescent boy attempts to come to terms with the death of his baby brother in this mesmerizing mix of video, film and still photography.

The Pearce Sisters (Dir. Luis Cook, BAFTA 2007, 9 mins). Wallace and Gromit-makers Aardman show their dark side in this humorous adult animation.
