Upswing Aerial
in Theatre Square (UK)
Leading UK aerial company Upswing takes over Theatre Square for three days of contemporary urban dance mixed with traditional circus skills.
Each day, we begin with bungee breakin’ workshops, followed by Upswing company members performing short pieces mixing aerial, Chinese pole and hip-hop dance.
At 6.45pm, the chance to see extracts from Loved Up, UpSwing’s bungee breakin’ show specially re-mixed for Watch This Space, and then an open floor for dancing.
Beginners Bungee Breakin’
Workshops: Experience extreme bungee breakin’ performed in a hip harness with a stretchy bungee line. Eight places per workshop (2hrs); for beginners and enthusiastic amateur b-boys and b-girls aged 8+. Sign up from noon on the day.
