Harper Regan

a new play by Simon Stephens

Harper Regan is a play about a woman who leaves her job, her family and her home to return to where she grew up and see her father before he dies.

Lesley Sharp, who recently appeared in ITV's Afterlife, play the title character who travels from Uxbridge to Stockport and Manchester on this emotionally challenging journey, encountering a number of similarly desperate people along her way.

This play has received fantastic reviews, particularly for it's uncompromising portrayal of how difficult human relationships can be in this age of individualism and isolating technology. The play has featuerd recently in theatre blogs for both the Guardian and the New York Times.
