Gift Aid

Quite simply, Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give us, whether in the form of a membership subscription or a donation, the National Theatre can claim an additional 25p (25p from April 1st 2008) from HM Revenue and Customs.

As a registered charity, the National Theatre can reclaim the tax on your membership subscriptions and donations if you are a UK taxpayer. If every NT supporter who pays tax were to make a Gift Aid declaration we would have around an additional £500,000 a year to put towards our work on the NT's stages and beyond.

To make you Gift Aid declaration now please fill in the form below, or telephone the Development office on 020 7452 3214.

Once you have made a declaration, it will cover all eligible donations and membership subscriptions (from Priority membership and above) in the last 6 years until you cancel your declaration.

I want the National Theatre to treat all donations I have made in the last six years (but no earlier than 06/04/2000) and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise as Gift Aid donations.

I realise that in order for the National Theatre to claim Gift Aid on my donations I must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the NT reclaims on my donations in the tax year (currently 25p for every £1 I donate).

(no date )

If you do not want us to claim Gift Aid on your donations please let us know by ticking one of the boxes below:
