Day Seats    

Day Seats available

Tickets available on the day of performance, in person only and subject to availability:

Seats are available for every show from 9.30am on the day of performance (4pm on bank holidays). They may be limited to two per person.

Concessions

The prices for each production can be found on the 'Performance dates and Prices'  pags for each production (follow the link in the right hand column on each production page).

Under 18 (available online)
Monday – Friday evenings and all matinees, excluding Travelex ticket performances.

Senior Citizen: Applies to midweek matinees (available online).

Disabled People: Discount and one companion at the same price call 020 7 452 3000.

Groups: (12+ people) call 020 7 452 3010. Discount applies to top two prices (excluding previews, Travelex ticket performances and all Cottesloe shows). Subject to availability.

School group: (10+ people under 19yrs) call 020 7 452 3010. Discount not available for Saturday evenings and Travelex ticket performances.

College group:  (10+ people 19 – 25yrs) call 020 7 452 3010. Discount not available for Saturday evenings and Travelex ticket performances.

NT Education group: This scheme has been replaced by discover: National Theatre

Other tickets available on the day of performance

Standing: £5 after all seats have sold out. Standing tickets are available, either in person or by phone.

Standby: £15 off top 3 prices in the Lyttelton; £5 off top 2 prices in the Cottesloe and Olivier Travelex £10 productions. All Preview performances £20.  Available from 90 minutes before a performance.

Student Standby: £10 from 45 minutes before (also unemployed, Stage Pass, SOLT, NCA, & theatre union members)

Returns: Some returned tickets may be available on the day, from the performance desk for each show, which opens 90 minutes before the start time

For very popular shows we would recommend you queuing as early as possible to have the greatest chance of getting returned tickets. We cannot guarantee that there will be returns available.

Ticket Exchange

There are no refunds. However, tickets may be exchanged for a later performance or credit vouchers, on condition that we receive the tickets at least 24 hours before the performance (7 days for group bookings). There is an administration fee of £2 per ticket.

Please Note: Strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots are sometimes used in productions; details are available from the Information Desk after the first preview. Concessions are limited and allocated at the management's discretion. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Children under four are welcome in the foyers, however they cannot be admitted to the auditoriums.
