Drop-Off Point
The drop-off point for cars and taxis for all three theatres and visitors to the Stage Door is on Cottesloe Avenue (next to the IBM building).
Parking
The car park below the National is open seven days a week, 6am–1am, check ahead for bank holiday opening times. For free parking, blue badge holders should take their badge, theatre ticket and car park ticket to the Information Desk in the main foyer Blue badge holders can park anywhere in the car park and there are spaces near the lifts reserved for use by disabled people. There is a ramped entrance with semi-automatic doors to the basement foyer and lifts. Congestion charge payment machines are also available in the car park (payment by credit cards only).

Buses
Numerous buses stop at or near Waterloo, including: 1, 4, 26, 59, 68, 76, 77, 139, 168, 171, 172, 176, 188, 211, 243, 341, 381, 507, 521, X68, Riverside Bus (RV1).
Stationlink provide a fully-accessible, low-floor bus service stopping at Waterloo. Route 705 runs every 30 minutes, linking Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, London Bridge, Waterloo, St Thomas' Hospital, Victoria, Victoria Coach Station and Paddington.
Underground
Waterloo, Southwark or cross the river via Golden Jubilee Bridges from Charing Cross/Embankment.

There are bicycle racks on Theatre and Cottesloe Avenues.
Arriving at the National Theatre
All entrances have wide, glass swing doors. There are semi-automatic doors on either side of the main riverside entrance. The floor in the main entrance foyer is granite, with a hard brick surface marking the transition from the main entrance to the four main lifts and the Lyttelton foyer. Mezzanine restaurant, the Terrace and Circle Cafes have hardwood floors. The rest of the building is carpeted, with the cloakrooms, Lyttelton Buffet and all bars edged with granite paving. A hard wood floor marks the Djanogly Concert Pitch on the ground floor.
