The Travelex £10 Season 2006

The shows in the 2006 Travelex £10 Season are:
The Royal Hunt of the Sun, by Peter Shaffer, directed by Trevor Nunn, with Alun Armstrong as Pizarro and Paterson Joseph as Atahuallpa.Ran from 30 March to 12 August 2006 Market Boy, a new play by David Eldridge, directed by Rufus Norris. A spectacular, savage, gorgeous yarn which brings a market jungle to the vast Olivier stage.
Ran from 27 May to 24 August 2006 The Life of Galileo by Bertolt Brecht, in a version by David Hare, directed by Howard Davies. Simon Russell Beale returns to the National as Galileo.

TRAVELEX RENEWS SPONSORSHIP OF £10 SEASON FOR THREE MORE YEARS
Travelex, the world's largest foreign exchange specialist, has renewed its sponsorship of the £10 Season for a further three years from 2006. Two thirds of the seats will again be £10 (the rest are £27.50). The partnership between Travelex and the National Theatre began in 2003 and over the past three years has attracted 660,000 people, of whom 155,000 have been first-time attenders at the National.
