A woman lies dead on a bed in her wedding dress, a silver knife through her heart... the two men who loved her lie beside her. 

...some trace of her is inspired by Russian writer Dostoevsky's novel called The Idiot,  about a young prince in 19th century St Petersburg and his experience of the harsh nature of society. 

Director Katie Mitchell is reknown for her cutting edge and challenging style and this production develops the distincitve multimedia technique she pioneered in her production of Waves at the National Theatre in 2006/7. The audience sees the performers film each other to create perfectly formed moments from the storty which are then projected live onto a screen at the back of the stage - it really has to be seen to be believed and this is a production not to be missed!
